Registration
takes place in the
registration tent at the event HQ.
Registration will be open at the
following times only:
Friday 22nd 16:00
until 19:00
Saturday 23rd 10:00
until 11:00
Sunday 24th 10:00
until 11:00
Monday 25th 10:00
until 11:00
Registration desks will be marked
alphabetically, please go to the
appropriate desk for your surname.
As
entries are non-transferable, you will
need to register in person, so please
bring some form of personal
identification to verify your entry i.e.
driving
licence.
If for
some reason you are not able to register
in person, you can arrange for someone
to do this on your behalf. However they
will need a letter or email of
authorization from you including your
name and address. At registration you
will be given your rider pack, please
note that nothing will be sent to you by
post prior to the event. Your rider
pack contains:
Bike/Rider Number
and Ties This is to be
secured to the front of your bike for
identification and entitlement to the
event support.
Camping Pass
This pass will enable you locate
your pitch and to use the Toilet and
shower facilities at the Sports Club.
Camping is at the event area as in
previous years and within 5 minutes walk
of Somerton Town centre.
Car Parking
The car
park will be signed and have stewards,
please follow their directions.

IIn
order that the event gets underway with
the minimum of fuss, you must arrive at
the start as early as possible.
Please
ride carefully outside of the
competition area and take
particular care when in a group. Please
listen to the announcements and follow
the instructions of the marshals.
Signage
The
sections are comprehensively signed 1-6
and competition lines will marked with
barrier tape.
Safety Points
During
competition you will be riding on closed
sections outside of these sections
it is essential for your own safety and
that of all other visitors and road
users that you comply with ALL TRAFFIC
REGULATIONS
Please
ensure you obey any instructions given
by the marshals and pay particular
attention at traffic lights, roundabouts
and junctions.
In the Event of an
Accident -
If you
are involved in a serious accident
requiring immediate medical attention
First Aid will be on hand.
Code of Conduct
-
When
riding on public roads, so you must obey
Highway Code regulations. Any rider seen
not complying with the code will be
reported and may be subject to sanctions
including being reported to the police
and may be banned from future events.
Camping -
A limited number of camping pitches at
the HQ are available by agreement of
Somerton Town Council. No alcohol is
allowed and noise must be kept to a
minimum. Security Guards will be
patrolling the camp site and will ask
remove any riders not following these
regulations. There is also a full
service campsite 4 miles from Somerton

Litter
- There
will be litter and recycling skips at
all venues and refreshment stations.
Please use them and do not drop any
litter anywhere. |
